Ultra-Real Flight Simulator

Manoova Aerobatics has invested in a highly immersive flight simulator. It's been custom made to provide a very effective and low cost method of practising VFR flight, including aerobatics.

The simulator features a wide range of light aircraft with very accurate flight models so they ‘fly’ just like the real thing.

The visual system is based on a virtual reality head mounted display linked to a head tracker which puts you inside the cockpit. Whichever direction you turn your head in the real world is the direction you look in the virtual cockpit.

The simulator also features tactile feedback in the seat. This means that you actually feel the vibration from the engine and the bumps in the runway. It has separate stick, throttle and rudder controls. All other aircraft systems are controlled by various buttons and switches so you never need to touch a keyboard or mouse.

Its perfect for practising circuits, stalls, spins, sideslips, unusual attitudes, system failures, cross-country rehearsal, aerobatic training, landings, take-offs, etc.
